Flash Fiction Month 2016

At the moment I'm taking part in Flash Fiction Month over on DA - writing a story of 55 to 1,000 words each day of July.

Here's links to the first batch, if anyone wants to have a look:

Noir Comedy

Dream Job

Blue Fairy

Undercover

Red Herring

The Hearing Aid

Underneath the Stars

Laura's Debut

Author's Pick: Noir Comedy! A humorous crossover between Commedia dell'arte and Detective Noir. (Oh, there was some Googling that day...)

You know I'm a big noir fan and yours was wonderful. I also like masquerade masks (Inky will lend you his Plague Doctor one if you need another.). I don't have an account on that site, so I can't comment there, but I'll collect them and leave them here.

I read them all. Very clever. I like the herring one after the noir one. And I'm impressed that you gave somber a go in the last one. And a shout out to the city nearest me in the undercover one.

Thanks so much for reading them ^_^

I do think Noir Comedy is my best one so far. It's the wonderful thing about FFM - you get all these weird challenges and think: "Crikey, I can't do that." And then you do have a go and sometimes you get something really good out of it ^^

I used that particular city because it is mentioned in connection with Kate Warne and her work. But I have to say I have a lot of affection for the place because of Homicide: Life On The Street ^_^ I loved Andre Braugher's character - I so looked up to him.
