And so, Flash Fiction Month on dA has come to an end. Here's my last batch of stories:

The Dragon and St. George

A Journey From A - Z

Hex the Unknown

Dung

Remaining Stationery [sic]

Or you can find all my stories grouped together here.

Author's Pick: A Journey From A - Z

And now for my next trick...

I will be having a go at a couple of the [livejournal.com profile] watsons_woes JWP amnesty prompts (the domestic hazards one seems rife with possibilities...), and throughout August I will be doing recs for [livejournal.com profile] 221b_recs!

I liked Hex the Unknown.

Delighted you'll be having a go at some of the JWP amnesty prompts - the domestic hazards one appeals to me too - do you wish to use the Broom Cupboard?

And I'm looking forward to seeing your recs.

I think Hex the Unknown is probably the least insane out of that last bunch ^^"

I wasn't particularly thinking of using the Broom Cupboard, no - feel free! Though I suppose it wouldn't matter too much if we both ended up including it? (Rules of the Broom Cupboard: only one writer may enter at a time... ^^)

Thank you ^^

And congratulations on running such a marvellous challenge throughout July! I've got an awful lot of reading to catch up on... ^^"

I like the Stationery one best. The title's an excellent pun. (I had to look up anagnorisis, too.) Keith Laumer was always trying to write that meeting - Tim was an inspiration.

Must admit I had to look up Keith Laumer ^^"

I'm glad you liked that particular one though - it was a bit tricky because of all the words that had to be included ('anagnorisis' wasn't the only word I had to Google ^^"), and I wrote it late on in the evening. I wasn't really sure if it had turned out coherently ^_^

In his Retief series, there are always occurring time wasting and pointless staff meetings, which he sometimes does make funny. But none are nearly as good as yours.
