Adventures in Dutch

I’ve always been fascinated by languages, and over the years I’ve had a go at so many of them. However, I’d never truly learned another language. And at the beginning of the year I really needed something to engage my brain, and both smallhobbit and sanguinity had mentioned using Duolingo. The idea of learning a language again gave me a burst of enthusiasm so I thought I would give it a go. I’d known about Duolingo for a long time but I had never visited their website. I was surprised by how many languages they had available now, though in the end I decided to go with a familiar language—Dutch.
